Achromatic Lenses
Achromatic Lenses, or achromats, are multi-element optics built to eliminate chromatic aberration and reduce spherical aberration. Usually cemented or air-spaced with two glass elements, they form tighter focal spots than singlet lenses. Widely used for fluorescence microscopy, image relay, industrial inspection and spectroscopy for high-quality broadband imaging.
